Ashley Evans

 Serving in full or part time ministry since 1991, Ashley Evans served in Student Ministries and Church Planting before becoming the Pastor of 22nd Street Baptist Church in November of 2011. As Pastor, he’s responsible for leading the church to embrace and live out our mission of Pointing People to Jesus. 

Ashley spent his childhood, teens, and college years growing up in different parts of Florida, California, and Alabama. During his high school and college years, he lived in Mobile, Alabama where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Mobile. He attended seminary at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas where he earned his Masters of Divinity. He and Briggette have been married since 1993 and have three wonderful kids who all know and love Jesus and have each found ways to serve Him in ministry.   While Ashley is thankful for the experiences and challenges of moving around frequently while growing up, he’s glad he and Briggette have found a place they love here in Wildcat country.
