Margy Killen

Margy Killen serves as our Children’s Ministry Director. She works to nurture a lifelong healthy, growing relationship with Jesus for our babies through 5th grade, while developing and implementing age-appropriate Bible-based storytelling, interactive games, and crafts while ensuring that the environment is welcoming, playful, and safe.

Margy was born in Greenville, South Carolina. While living in Germany, at age 12, she took a babysitter course due to her love and passion for children. Finally, settling in Tucson and finding a home with 22nd Street Baptist Church over 5 years ago, she joined our team in January 2025. She has 3 children that help her keep learning new ways to help her children grow. Margy is passionate about ministering to kids and has a heart for families to grow in their knowledge and relationships with the Lord.
